This thing is bad to the bone. It sucks up all the dirt, dust, and dander, and I can't believe how amazing it is. I use it multiple times a week and it delivers every single time. Pro tip: turn the lights off and you can see exactly how much it picks up. It's phenomenal. I have two dogs, a terrier mix and a chihuahua mix, so there's always thicker hair shedding everywhere. Every time you turn around there are little dust balls and hair balls flying around. This vacuum handles all of it. Absolutely my number one vacuum.

The suction on this vacuum is fabulous, especially on carpet. I can actually feel it pulling dirt up from deep in the fibers, something I've never experienced with other vacuums I've owned. The LED light reveals hair and dust the naked eye can't see, which was eye-opening. On hardwood floors, it visibly sucks up dust in a way I've never seen before. I also appreciate how compact it is compared to bulkier vacuums I've had in the past. Maintenance is simple: emptying the container is quick, and it pops right back in. I do have two suggestions for improvement. First, the power cord just sits on the ground while you vacuum. It would be nice if there were a clip on the handle to keep it secured. Second, the extender handle for reaching things is too short and not very sturdy. The attachment piece is small, and a longer, solid wand would make a big difference. I use this at least once a day or every other day, and definitely multiple times a week. When my kids bring their dogs over, the pet hair increases significantly compared to the animals we already have in the house, so it gets even more use then.
This vacuum does an incredible job picking up pet hair and dust. It's way better than my previous vacuum for that. The big caveat: it doesn't pick up hair along the edges of rooms, and even using the hose attachment I'm not confident it's really getting the corners. Months later, that's still true. The dual brush feature I'd skip entirely. It's very loud and aggressive, and it shredded my regular home carpet. As I was going over a spot, it made a really weird noise, and when I lifted it up the carpet fibers looked like they'd come apart. You can't really see it from a distance, so it's not like the carpet is fully ruined, but it's not pleasant to look at either. If you're not planning to use the dual brush, just leave it in the back of the closet. Otherwise it falls off its little notch on the vacuum, and that really hurts when it lands on your foot. I have a German Shepherd/Aussie mix who is a perma-shedder, and my kids bring in plenty of dirt too. I vacuum a couple times a week and have had it since around March. I'd use it every day if I could. For straight pet hair pickup on carpet, it's excellent. Just don't expect much from the dual brush or the edge cleaning.
This vacuum made me realize how much pet hair my Dyson stick vacuum was missing. The Pet Hair Eraser DualBrush picks up so much more, and the lights illuminate everything on the floor, which is both great and honestly a little upsetting. It's been especially meaningful because my daughter was diagnosed with asthma, and I feel much more confident now that my floors are actually clean. I've had it about four months and use it one to two times a week on average. I have three dogs that all shed heavily, especially in spring. Two have light fluffy fur and one has short Labrador-type fur. The vacuum handles all of it really well. My main complaint is that it struggles in tight corners because of its shape. It's hard to get into the very edges of rooms. I also didn't initially realize the pet hair eraser has two separate parts that need cleaning, so that was a learning curve. Still, it's an amazing vacuum and a huge upgrade from a cordless stick.
This vacuum picks up pet hair impressively well on both carpet and laminate flooring, and the roller attachment is a real upgrade over what we were using before. Our old vacuum had a smaller, singular attachment that meant picking up hair one by one, so this is noticeably quicker and more efficient. We have a Pomsky who sheds year-round and heavily twice a year, so pet hair is a constant battle. I vacuum about once a week, and after a few months it still works just as well as day one. My five-year-old even likes using the attachments to vacuum the blanket our dog sits on, which says something about how easy it is to use. The attachments do a great job on the couch, picking up just about all the hair. You do have to be careful they don't suck up the blanket itself, but that's manageable. I really like the LED lights on both the vacuum and attachments. Lots of thoughtful details throughout. One thing to note: using it as a detached handheld with just the attachments is a little heavy. I mainly use that function for the stairs and keep everything attached together otherwise rather than carrying it around the house. The only real issue I've had is with the canister. The little inner piece you shake the hair out of isn't fully secured, and the very first time I emptied it, that piece fell right into the trash can. I almost threw it away before I noticed. I'm sure it's designed to be removable for cleaning, but a first-time user should know to watch for that.
This vacuum picks up so much more hair than our previous one. It's not even a comparison. I also love that it keeps itself cleaner, so there's less dirt stuck to it after each use, and the lights are a great feature. We have dogs, cats, and kids with long hair, so everyone sheds. I used to vacuum every day, but since this one picks up so much, I only need to use it every other day unless we have guests coming over. When I empty it, there's way more hair collected than my old vacuum ever grabbed, which tells me it's actually getting everything off the carpets, wooden floors, and bathroom floors. It's been a few months now and I'm still impressed.
It does really good on carpet, though it's a little harder to push than other vacuums we have. I use it downstairs where we have the most carpet, and I use my other vacuum upstairs because it works better on hardwood floors. We use it about every other week downstairs, so it doesn't get as much action, but it picks up well when we do. We have one dog that sheds partially and a 2,000 square foot home. I didn't use it much on furniture.
Great vacuum for pet hair. I have a long-haired dog who constantly sheds, especially in the summer, and this thing pulled an embarrassing amount of dirt and fur out of carpets I thought were fairly clean. I vacuumed a bedroom, hallway, and staircase expecting minimal pickup and was proven very wrong. It's also significantly quieter than my previous vacuum. My old one practically required earplugs, but with this I can actually hear what's going on around me. No vacuum is super quiet, but this one is decent. I love that it detaches from the base, making it easy to carry while cleaning stairs and other hard-to-reach areas. I've had it for two months now, using it about every other week, and it's been great on both carpets and furniture.
This vacuum's suction and dual brush technology are miles above any other vacuum I've used. It actually picks up hair I didn't even know was hiding in the carpets, in little spaces and nooks I'd been missing. One pass and it genuinely looks like I vacuumed, instead of having to go over the same spot three or four times like I did with my old vacuums. I have a Pomeranian and a cat, and their fur literally rolls through my house like dust balls. Other vacuums just couldn't keep up. I used to vacuum a couple of times a day, and now that I've been using this for a few months, I only need to hit it every couple of days and I'm staying on top of the mess. It's made my cleaning routine so much more manageable. I love how light it is. It swivels easily underneath my ottomans and into nooks and crannies that I never fully reached with traditional vacuums. The attachments help get into those harder-to-reach spots too. I haven't had any issues with it at all. If anybody owns little fuzz demons like my Pomeranian, they'll know just how much that's saying. Definitely recommend.
If you've got a shedding pet and want a vacuum that actually shows you what it's picking up, this is the one to get. The lights on this thing are a game changer. I thought my floors were clean, and they were not. Once I turned it on and the lights hit the floor, I could see the hair I was pulling up in real time, and it was really satisfying to watch. Any little dust bunnies had no chance. The Dual Brush system has impressed me on every surface I've tried: hardwood, area rugs, tile. It transitioned and performed very consistently with no drop-off and no clogging. For pet hair specifically, this is where it earns its name. It maneuvers really smoothly too, swiveling around furniture legs without any hitting, which matters when you've got a cat who leaves hair in every corner. It is on the heavier side, and hauling it up the stairs is not fun. We have one flight of very steep, fully carpeted stairs, and maneuvering isn't difficult, it's just weighty to carry up. To be fair, that's pretty standard for vacuums in this tier. It's a tradeoff for the actual power this vacuum has. I have a three-legged, long-haired cat who sheds constantly, so finding the right vacuum isn't optional. We've had this Bissell for a few months now and I vacuum every day with it. Every day it picks up every little bit that my toddler or my pet leaves on the ground. It has earned a permanent spot as our downstairs vacuum where my cat spends most of her time.
This vacuum has incredible suction power and picks up an impressive amount of pet hair. The lights are way brighter than my old vacuum, so I can see hair and dust much more clearly. It was really simple to put together with easy click-togethers, and it feels high quality. It is a little more bulky than I'd like. The handle that protrudes out the back takes up more room than I'd prefer in my coat closet. It also doesn't swivel as nicely as other vacuums to get into tight places or under low-profile furniture. I have two shedding dogs, so I deal with an incredible amount of hair. I've been using it at least once a week for a few months now, and it's performed really well.
This vacuum has been a true game-changer. The suction is the strongest of any vacuum we've owned, and the dual brush tool picks up all the dog hair off our blue velvet couch without needing a second pass. Our other vacuums either can't get the hair off the couch or require going over the same spot two to three times. I use it on everything: carpeted floors, hardwood, couches, even the curtains. It's the first heavy-duty vacuum I've had that I feel confident using on all surfaces. It picks up everything from dog hair to food my toddler and five-year-old leave on the floor. My only real complaint is the weight. It's heavy to push, and that surprised me when I first used it. After having my second child, I've had pelvic and hip issues, so I have to be careful when vacuuming the floors. That said, you do get used to it over time. We've had it about three months now, using it weekly. I have an 11-year-old Chihuahua Yorkie mix who sheds a fair amount and loves to lay on the couch every day. This vacuum handles it all and has easily been the best one we've owned.
This has honestly become my go-to stick vacuum. It does a really great job picking up pet hair, crumbs, and everyday messes on both hard floors and carpets, and it's so lightweight and easy to use that I reach for it multiple times a day. My favorite feature is the lights on the front. They help me see so many crumbs and pet hairs I'd otherwise miss, especially under cabinets and along baseboards. I also really like the liftoff pod for cleaning stairs and furniture. The suction power isn't quite as strong as some other vacuums I've used. If it had just a little more suction, it would be perfect. That said, I still prefer it for the lights and how easy it is to maneuver. We have a dog that's constantly shedding and two kids dropping food on the floor, so I usually do a couple quick sweeps around the kitchen and living room to pick up daily messes. The dustbin capacity easily holds a full day's worth of cleaning, usually a few days at least with the small amounts of dog hair and crumbs I'm picking up throughout the day. Overall, it has made keeping my home clean so much easier and I've been really impressed with it.
The vacuum works pretty well overall, but it struggles to reach about an inch and a half to two inches from walls and corners, which means I end up needing an attachment for edges. That's actually why I mainly use it for stairs and furniture now, and alternate with my other vacuum for regular floor cleaning. The attachments are my favorite part. They're great on couches and going up the stairs. I have two kids, a very fluffy dog, and live in a dusty area with a two-story house, so I put it to work. I've had it for a few months and use it about once a week.
This vacuum does a fantastic job removing pet hair from every surface in our home. The pet hair eraser attachment works especially well on the couch, and the dual brush technology handles carpet, dog beds, and furniture with ease. I love that all the attachments have lights built in, which really shows you where the hair is hiding. It's heavy enough to feel like it's doing a solid job but light enough that your arms don't get tired. Cleaning and maintenance have been a breeze over the three months we've owned it. We have a Jack Russell Terrier whose hair finds its way into every corner of the house, and we use this vacuum multiple times a week. This is our first pet-specific vacuum, and I'm very impressed.
This vacuum picks up our yellow lab's hair just as well as our more expensive vacuum, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone in the market. It works great on rugs, hardwood floors, and our couch. The built-in light is a standout feature: it makes every little hair visible on the carpet, both during the day and in the evenings, so I always know exactly where I still need to go over. The attachment works really well too. I've owned it for quite a few months now and use it two to three times a week. The only improvement I'd want is a retractable cord, but that's such a minor thing it's not a real issue. Overall we are super happy with it.
This vacuum actually picks up pet hair on hardwood floors instead of just pushing it around like my previous vacuums did. The dual brush action makes a real difference, and I've been reaching for it over my old vacuum ever since I got it about six months ago. The different modes for hardwood, low carpet, and high carpet are very beneficial since my house has a mixture of all three. The swivel on the head is excellent. If I spot pet hair in a corner while vacuuming the living room, I can just swivel right over to it without changing direction. It's not bulky at all and gets into tight corners easily. I love all the attachments, especially that the light turns on when you're using them. Speaking of the light, I actually vacuum in the dark so I can see the hair better. The light reflects the pet hair so well that I can pick up way more than I would otherwise. I use it a couple times a week and haven't had a single issue with it.
This vacuum handles both hard surfaces and high pile carpet really well, cleaning bare floors noticeably faster than my previous vacuums. The dual brush makes a big difference on hard surfaces. With older vacuums I could feel kickback from debris, but that's completely gone with this one. The built-in light is another nice touch. It casts a shadow that makes hair and crumbs easier to spot on the floor, stuff I wouldn't necessarily see until I've got the vacuum going. The main maintenance issue is hair buildup on the brushes. I have one dog and one person with long hair in the house, and I need to clean the brushes out about once a month. If you have a full household of long-haired people or more animals, it could clog up quicker. I vacuum once or twice a week depending on how dirty things get, and overall I'm happy with it.
This vacuum picks up pet hair really well, and the headlights make it easy to spot everything that needs cleaning. I have a golden retriever that sheds often, and I actually prefer to vacuum in lower light conditions so I can use the headlights to see what I'm dealing with. The ability to adjust the suction level is very handy when going from hard floor to carpet. I also liked how easily the attachment comes off to use the wand. One thing to note: head hair (mine, not the dog's) does get wrapped around the vacuum head, so you'll need to clean that out periodically, but it is easy to clean and only takes a minute or two.
Works great on our schnauzer's short hair since we keep him pretty buzzed. We've used it about every four weeks for the past month and a half, and it handles that coat with no issues. The one downside is the noise level. Our dog doesn't like the sound up close to his ears, so we can't use it on his head or beard, which makes keeping those areas trimmed a challenge. I'd love to see the noise improved in a future version.
This is great on upholstery. The dual brush creates suction without stopping when you put it on fabric, which my other vacuum can't match. I have two cats (they're tabbies, so there is a LOT of hair on our upholstery and curtains), and this handles all of it. It also works great on hard floors, and the LED light is a really nice feature for spotting debris. I do have another pet vacuum that's several years old and still works well on hard floors, but it just doesn't have the power on upholstery that this one does. I love that it handles different floor types and fabric surfaces equally well.
This vacuum is really effective at getting all the pet hair up in one pass. I don't have to vacuum twice, which is huge with two dogs and two cats that are all inside pets. I've used it on both hardwood floors and carpet with great success over the past four months. I really appreciate the lights on the vacuum. They help you see what you're cleaning and make sure you get all the dirt and pet hair out. The hand attachment also has a light on it too which is a unique feature I haven’t seen on other vacuums. One thing I noticed is that even old carpet fuzz that needed to come up was getting pulled into the vacuum. We vacuum once a week and it keeps everything clean.
This vacuum does a fantastic job picking up cat hair, dust, and my own hair across both hardwood floors and area rugs. We've had it for close to a year now, using it two to three times per week upstairs, and it's held up great. My favorite feature is the light on the vacuum. You can really see what you're picking up and what you're missing so you can go back over it and get everything. The brush transitions seamlessly between rugs and hard floors with no adjustments needed. I also love the smaller brush attachment for stairs and the option to detach the brush altogether and just use the tube for corners and baseboards. The three suction modes are really handy: low for a small mess, high for something stubborn. It's lightweight, charges quickly, and even my kids can use it without any issues. The canister is fairly small, and between the cat hair and everyday dust, it fills up pretty much every time. I empty it after each use. That's not a deal-breaker for me though. We have one cat who sheds quite a bit, especially during the summer, and this vacuum keeps up with it all.
This vacuum picks up every bit of my Siberian cat's thick fur without me having to loosen it first. The built-in light is a game changer. I used to do a few swipes with my cordless vacuum and think I was done, only to feel stuff stuck to the bottom of my feet later. With the DualBrush, the light keeps me going until I see no dirt or debris left on the floor. The attachments are great. I've used them on cat furniture and in the car. The cord is long enough that I never worry about it not reaching where I need it. It works equally well on carpets and hardwood floors. It is a bit heavy, so if there were a way to make it lighter that would be a welcome improvement. We've had it for a couple months and use it at least twice a week.
This is the best vacuum I've ever owned for pet hair. It picks up my Pomeranian's hair effortlessly, pulling it out of carpets, rugs, and upholstery with just one pass. The suction is excellent, and the dual brush design really lifts embedded dirt and pet hair that other vacuums leave behind. For how powerful it is, it's the most lightweight vacuum I've ever owned, and I've had countless uprights. It's easy to maneuver and super simple to use. The attachments make cleaning stairs, furniture, and hard-to-reach areas a breeze, and emptying the dirt bin takes no effort at all. I've used it every single day, multiple times a day, for about seven months and wouldn't improve a single thing. If you have pets, especially a heavy shedder like a Pomeranian, I highly recommend this vacuum.
This vacuum has excellent suction and makes dealing with dog hair so much easier compared to my old vacuum. The front brush piece picks up extra hair, and it automatically detects whether it's on hardwood or carpet and adjusts the suction accordingly. I have an area rug over a wood floor, and I can actually hear the difference when it transitions between surfaces. It's also easy to maintain: easy to empty, clean out, and rinse the filter. I've been using it two to three times a week for a few months now, and it's been a great overall vacuum.
This vacuum picks up pet hair effortlessly and has held up really well over six months of use multiple times a week. Switching between attachments is easy, and it works great on both furniture and carpets. The upholstery/stairs attachment is super convenient. I have carpeted stairs and it gets into all the nooks and crannies beautifully. It's also easy to store. My only wish is that it came in a cordless option.
This vacuum works great for pet hair and human hair, with really powerful suction. One brush boasts that hair won't get tangled or caught up, but over time it does. The ease of removing hair from that brush helps, though. I've had it for at least a year and use it once or twice a week, sometimes more.
This thing works wonders. My brother and sister-in-law are both allergic to cats, and after I deep cleaned with the Pet Hair Eraser DualBrush, neither one of them sneezed after several hours in my house. That's all the proof I need. I have two cats (one long-haired who sheds constantly and throws up hairballs often) and two kids who eat all over the house, so my carpets take a beating. I used it on rugs, carpets, and stairs, and it pulled up so much extra cat hair. It left my house smelling really fresh and feeling genuinely clean. It was super easy to use and just as easy to clean afterward. All I had to do was dump out the dirty water and pull the extra hair off the bottom of the bristles. I used it the day before my in-laws visited so the carpets and rugs had time to dry overnight. I've never used anything like this before, and now I'm planning to make it a weekly staple for deep cleaning.
This vacuum does a fantastic job keeping up with constant pet hair. I have two dogs that shed nonstop, and I can really see the difference every time I use it. The headlight is a great feature because the second it turns on, I can see all the hair on my floors that I'd otherwise miss. The parts are really easy to clean out. When dog hair or my own hair gets stuck on the rollers, it's simple to cut out, and the filters are easy to clean too. It does clog up occasionally, but it's easy to unclog and I only need to clean the brushes about once a month. I've had it for a couple of months now and use it at least once a week, both upstairs and downstairs. It handles the kids' rooms and especially the main floor where the dogs spend their time. Overall it's a really great vacuum for anyone with pets.
This vacuum does a great job picking up hair, dust, dirt, and debris throughout the house. We have one dog and three children, so it gets used several times a week and has held up well over a couple of months. It handles everything from under the table messes to the couch and stairs. The suction and overall performance are solid, and the attachments have a light that's really nice to use. The cord length is good too. My only complaint is the edge-to-edge suction could be better. It leaves a little bit right up against the wall that's hard to get with the regular vacuum head, though that's only really frustrating during a deep clean. Overall a great product for a busy household.
This vacuum delivers strong, visible results on pet hair. We have two cats who shed a lot, and after vacuuming the couch, it looked noticeably cleaner. The suction and cleaning compare very favorably to our previous name-brand vacuum that's highly regarded. It felt like all the good things I'm used to, plus intentional design for pet owners. We've had it for a few months now and vacuum about once a week. Beyond pet hair and dander, it handles all the messes from our two young kids. That's a big deal in a house where the adults have allergies. Ease of use and size are similar to what we had before, so there was no learning curve. I haven't discovered any maintenance challenges or limitations. It's been a very reliable, strong product.
I'd highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who asks, and I already have. On carpet, the Pet Hair Eraser DualBrush does an amazing job, especially compared to my previous carpet vacuum. We deal with pet hair from a short-haired cat and a longer-haired dog that come over regularly, and it handles both with ease. I use it at least three times a week and have for about three months now. Where it falls short is hard surfaces. When the dual brush transitions and turns off on hard floors, there's a noticeable decrease in power. It could just be perception, but compared to my regular stick vacuum, it doesn't perform as well on hardwood, tile, or porcelain. I keep my lighter stick vacuum for hard surfaces whenever I can and only use the Bissell when I'm transitioning between rooms on the second floor, where we have all carpet. A couple other limitations: the stair attachment isn't powerful enough on its own, so I end up picking up the whole vacuum to clean stairs. The wand cord is also pretty short, which limits your reach on higher surfaces. Maintenance and cleaning are easy, which is a major plus. Our first floor is a mix of porcelain, hardwood, and tile in the bathrooms, while the second floor is all carpet. I keep the Bissell upstairs where it really shines. Overall I world give a solid 5 stars for carpet needs.
This vacuum picks up way more than I expected. We don't have a ton of pet hair, but it pulled up dust and debris I couldn't even see, which was fantastic. The transition from carpet to hardwoods is seamless with a quick adjustment, and it handles both surfaces beautifully. My favorite feature is the detachable vacuum unit. It separates from the base so you can reach cracks, crevices, and hard-to-get spots, which really helped with cleaning the house overall. The attachments are easy to switch in and out, and cleaning the dust receptacle is simple too. The dustbin is large enough to vacuum a few rooms before you even have to think about emptying it. I've had this for a few months now and use it at least once a week or whenever an area needs extra attention. Honestly, I can't think of a single thing to improve.
This vacuum does a great job picking up pet hair, dust, and dirt, and it transitions between different floor surfaces easily. I was amazed at what the headlight revealed on the floor that I couldn't see without it. I also really like that the brushes stop rolling when you prop it upright. My one wish is that the brush stuck out a little more from the front housing. It's a bit too encased, which makes edges and corners less than perfect. The cord can also be a hassle. There's a clip at the top to keep it out of the way, but the wheels really don't like going over it if you happen to run across it, especially if you're in a hurry or the dog runs through. Maintenance is pretty easy, similar to other Bissell vacuums I've had in the past. The instructions were great, very step-by-step, and all the stickers on the vacuum made it simple to figure out what goes where. I have dogs and vacuum every day or at least every other day because without it the house would just be covered in dog hair. I've had it for several months now and overall I really like it.
This vacuum has cut our cleaning time by more than half. Our first floor alone, a combination of carpet and hardwood, use to take up to 45 minutes to vacuum. Now it's a 10-20 minute job. We have a very heavy shedding pet that leaves hair everywhere daily, and the Pet Hair Eraser DualBrush handles it all. Two features we especially love: the removable portion that lets us clean the stairs more efficiently with less weight, and the light that illuminates the floor so we can actually see the hair as we clean. I've had this vacuum for a few months now and use it almost every day. Over time it's maintained its integrity with zero issues. I'd recommend this to anyone with a heavily shedding pet or very messy children.
This vacuum picks up an insane amount of hair. After every session, the canister is packed with fur. I couldn't believe what it picked up from the carpet, furniture, and hardwood, even after using our old vacuum. The attachments are excellent and work well together. I especially love being able to lift out the canister to vacuum stairs or furniture, while still getting the same suction as the full vacuum… but without hauling the entire body around! It's a standard size vacuum, so it's bigger than a stick vacuum, but it doesn't feel cumbersome at all. My only wish is that it had a retractable cord instead of having to wind it up manually. I've been using it weekly for a couple months now and it's been a definite upgrade.
This corded vacuum handles pet hair and everyday messes better than any stick vacuum I've owned. Because it's plugged in, it never loses power or dies mid-clean, and the suction stays consistently strong. I use it once or twice a week for deeper cleans on hardwood, carpet, and upholstery. The upholstery brush is especially powerful, and the built-in light illuminates crumbs and debris embedded in cushions that I'd otherwise miss. I have two cats and two very young children, so there's constantly fur and crumbs all over my floors. I've had it about four months now with no maintenance issues or limitations. I keep my stick vacuum around for quick pickups, but this is my go-to for a real deep clean.
This thing gets pet hair out of carpet in one sweep, where other vacuums need multiple passes. The dual brush attachment is even more powerful on couches and other surfaces. I've had it since March and use it pretty much every day. I actually stopped using all my other vacuums, including my stick vacuum. The suction on this handheld is just that much better. I also love the light on it, which is amazing for spotting hair and debris. I have two Shar-Peis, one short coat and one bear coat, and both shed a ton. The amount of fur I pull up each session is significant.
This vacuum picks up dog hair and fur with absolute ease on every surface we've thrown at it. We've used it on carpets, laminate floors, stairs, the car, and the living room, and nothing has disappointed us. It is a little heavy, but it's still easy to carry around and maneuver wherever I need it, even up and down the stairs. We have two golden retrievers that shed constantly, so we use this at least a couple times a week to keep the fur under control. After a few months of regular use, I'm so glad we have this product. There's nothing we would improve about it.
I really wanted to love this vacuum, but the suction declined steadily and noticeably after about two weeks of use. By that point I was having to go over clumps of cat hair on the carpet multiple times for it to pick up anything. When I followed up with a different vacuum afterward, it pulled up a lot of cat hair the Pet Hair Eraser had missed, which was really disappointing. I'm still vacuuming just as much as I used to. On the positive side, it's really easy to break down and clean. The filters, the tube, all of it comes apart simply. It has some great features, but at the end of the day the suction just doesn't hold up with continued use.
This vacuum picks up fur and debris incredibly well on both carpet and wood floors, and I wouldn't change a thing about it. We have two very heavy shedding dogs, and I vacuum every other day, filling the canister each time. It handles that load much better than any vacuum we've used in the past. The headlights make it easy not to miss debris on the floor, which is a nice touch.
I highly recommend the Pet Hair Eraser DualBrush. The first time I used it, I realized my previous vacuum wasn't doing nearly as good a job as I thought. The dual brush system is fantastic at lifting pet hair from carpet. I mainly use it on carpeted areas, but it also works well on my LVP flooring. My dog is a high shedder with medium black hair, and I've been using this vacuum weekly since March. One thing to note is it felt a bit heavy at times, which could be challenging for some people. The lift-off system was also a bit cumbersome. Holding the base while trying to use the handheld tools made it hard to navigate. That said, I'd recommend this to anyone with pets, especially dogs who shed a lot.
This vacuum is comparable to $800 vacuums I've had, and it costs a fraction of the price. It picks up a ton of pet hair and works great on hardwoods, carpet, and area rugs. The dual brush feature is really effective across all surfaces. I love the light on it because I can see exactly where all the pet hair is and make sure I've gotten it all before I stop. Most vacuums I've owned don't have that, so it's a real improvement. I've had this for several months and use it at least three or four times a week, usually more because of the kids and pets. I haven't had any maintenance issues, and it's super easy to clean and empty the bin. I have one dog with long light-colored hair that sheds constantly, and my dark floors make every strand obvious. This vacuum handles all of it. Great value for how well it works.
This has significantly improved the cleanliness of our home and is a definite upgrade from a traditional vacuum. The front light is both amazing and a little scary because it shows you all the dust and dirt you'd never otherwise see, but it helps you know you're getting the job done thoroughly. The ability to swap bristles between rugs, tile, and hardwood is fantastic, and it's safe for my hardwood floors without any scratching. I was initially worried the metal on the bottom might scratch the surface, but after a few months of use I haven't noticed any issues. We use it a few times a week in our home with a five-year-old and a dog, and I honestly wouldn't change a thing about it.
This vacuum is awesome and has made getting pet hair out of carpets so much easier than any previous vacuum I've owned, including ones that claimed to be specifically for pet hair. The dual brush feature is great for furniture and stairs, and the lift-off option makes it less cumbersome when you need to move between surfaces. It's corded, which has pros and cons. It never runs out of charge, but managing the cord is a little annoying. My only real complaint is the weight. It's pretty heavy, and that's actually why I don't use it daily. I often grab my lighter battery-operated vacuum for quick touch-ups in between sessions. If it were lighter, I'd use it every day. I have a dog with medium-length hair who sheds constantly, especially in the spring. I've had this vacuum for a few months and use it at least once a week. Highly recommend.
The suction on this vacuum is phenomenal. It pulled out more pet hair from my carpet than any of my other vacuum cleaners. It also has a super bright light that shows everything on the floors, and it cleans really well close to corners and edges. The problem is I don't reach for it often because it's so bulky and heavy. It's really wide, so it doesn't fit inside corners well or between furniture, and it has a high profile that keeps it from going underneath furniture easily. The extension hose is another issue: there's only one long extension available, so you can't use a short one to vacuum something like a couch, and it's really clumsy to maneuver. I've had it for several months and only use it about once a week. I vacuum regularly with another corded vacuum, and we have one pug who sheds a lot, so I stay on top of the hair. This thing still managed to get out more than my daily vacuum does. I'd recommend it if you have a lot of pet hair and want a deep clean, but it's definitely not an everyday vacuum.
This vacuum picks up all the hair, and with several dogs and cats regularly in the house, that genuinely surprised me. I've used it in pet-heavy areas like the stairs and laundry room as well as child-friendly zones with no pets, and it's been super effective in both. It would work just as well for a non-pet home as a pet home. The vacuum is pretty heavy. The detachable portion you can use on the stairs is helpful, but even that has some weight to it. I've owned it for several months now and use it two to three times a week in my own home. My sister also uses it once a week in her home and she has two dogs.
The dual-brush system on this vacuum is absolutely amazing. Having two brush heads working together to pick up both big debris and fine hair without getting tangled is a game-changer. I'm vacuuming daily now and picking up more hair than I ever realized was in the house, and the vacuum doesn't get clogged. I think I've been converted back to plug-in vacuums. We have a couple of battery-powered machines that claim to be better and work longer, but realistically nothing compares to the power you get from just plugging in. This thing takes it away. The only issue is that the vacuum attachments stored on the side can get bumped and knocked off while you're vacuuming around the house. When the vacuum is just sitting in storage they stay put perfectly, so it's really only during use that they clip off every now and then. Minor inconvenience. We have a golden doodle and a couple of daughters, so pet hair and daily messes are constant. This vacuum handles all of it and we're very impressed.
