These Chuck 70 Beads are surprisingly comfortable right out of the box, which is unusual for Chucks in my experience. They also fit well even on my wide feet, unlike some narrower pairs I've had in the past. Unfortunately, the color and overall vibe didn't work for me. The color ran more pastel pink than true pink that I expected from the online photos, and the beading detail reads more youthful and trendy in person. They ended up looking more like a girl's shoe than a woman's shoe. I will say the beads are more durable than I anticipated. Despite feeling fragile, none have fallen off or snagged on anything, and the shoes still look great. I eventually stopped wearing them after getting my color analysis done, but that's a personal style choice. I think these would be great for a teen or younger person who wants a fun, comfortable take on a classic Chuck Taylor.

I've been wearing these for a couple of months and love them just as much now as I did on the first day. The beads have held on well, and the shoes have held up better than most canvas sneakers I've owned. I wear them at work where I do a lot of standing and walking, running errands, and hanging out with friends. Occasionally I can feel the beads catching while I'm walking, but it doesn't affect my comfort or how much I like the shoes. These are my preferred canvas shoes and wear as well as other Converse I've owned.
These Chuck 70 Beads look great but just aren't comfortable enough to wear regularly. The shoe is very flat with minimal cushion, so after a lot of steps you really start to feel it. They also rub on the back of your heel, a little less than the original low-tops I used to wear since these are high tops, but the fit still isn't shaped well overall. I've honestly barely worn them because I need to save them for occasions where I won't be walking much, like a lunch date with a friend where I'm mostly sitting. That doesn't happen often. The high-top style is also harder to pair with outfits. I've always preferred a lower cut. The beads are a concern too. I haven't worn them enough to truly test durability, but any time you add embellishments to a shoe, they're bound to come off eventually. Walking through rough terrain, mud, water, or bumping into something is going to take its toll. Unless you're super careful and not very active, I'd expect them to fall off over time. I used to wear Chuck Taylors back in the day and was excited to try them again. They're definitely more of a stylish shoe than anything functional, so keep that in mind.
These are beautifully designed shoes, but the beads scratch my legs when I walk, which makes them pretty uncomfortable. I've worn them about five times over a few months and find myself actively avoiding them. The more I'm on my feet running errands or out and about, the worse the scratching gets. Then I start thinking about it, trying to walk differently, and it becomes a whole cycle. They also don't give me the support I need. Compared to regular Chuck 70s without the beads, those are great. These are aesthetically pleasing and well constructed, just not my cup of tea. I think they'd work for someone else who doesn't have the same comfort issues.
These shoes are really cute and make a casual outfit look more glam, but the beads fall off way too easily. That started happening almost right away since they're very loosely attached. I've had them about five months, wearing them roughly once a week, and I've probably lost about 10 beads per shoe so far. Comfort-wise, they're great. They're more comfortable than regular Converse, and I reach for them when I'm going out to dinner or hanging out with friends. Everything else about the shoe has held up well: the soles haven't worn down, the laces are fine, and the zippers are still going strong. It's just the beads that won't last. I still really like them for dressing up a casual look, but I don't expect the sparkle to stick around much longer.
These have way more arch support than standard Chucks, and after breaking them in, they got really comfortable. I've had them since February, wearing them at least twice a week, and they're holding up really well. The beads have loosened a little over time, but it's only noticeable to me when I'm lacing them up. They still look just as cute as the day I got them. I love these shoes.
These high-top Converses are fun, retro, and get compliments everywhere I go. The beading adds a feminine, modern touch that really sets them apart. I've had them over a month and wear them about once a week. They go with a lot of outfits. They can be hard to get on at first, but I think the more I break them in, the easier that will get.
These Chuck 70 Beads are comfortable for casual wear, but the heavy sole makes them best for short outings only. I wouldn't wear them to a mall, zoo, or anywhere I'd be on my feet for a long time. For quick errands or dinner out, they're perfect. As long as I wear ankle socks, I don't get the discomfort against the back of my ankle that I've experienced with lighter Chucks. The beadwork looks great and has held up well. I've had them since April, wearing them at least once a week for over two months, and none of the beads have worn off. The stitching is good quality and everything looks very well made. My one concern is washing them. Since the beads are connected, I worry that losing one could mean losing ten. I haven't soaked them in OxiClean yet and probably won't put them in the washing machine, even in a shoe bag. I'd rather have a slightly dirty shoe than risk the beading coming off. The white sole picks up dirt like any white-bottomed shoe, but that's standard. In terms of durability, the canvas hasn't ripped and I haven't had any other issues. These are the only retro-style sneakers I own, so I can't compare them to other brands, but in classic Converse fashion, they hold up.
