I love these Brooks Glycerin GTS 23s. They feel sturdy despite an abundance of cushion and spring, and they certainly seem up to the task for my typical 20-40 miles a week of running and walking. They fit true to size, though the toe box is larger than I'm used to coming from other Brooks shoes. On the street or paved trails, they're perfect. I did test them on the treadmill and they felt a little bulky, though it hasn't really affected anything one way or the other. They live up to the standards I've grown accustomed to from Brooks over the years. I highly recommend them for beginning or experienced runners.

These are actually better than my Hokas. The cushioning on the Glycerin GTS 23 feels like a sturdier base with a little more padding on the bottom. It could come across as slightly more clunky, but I think that's just the extra cushioning doing its job. The arch support felt really good too, with no adjustment issues switching between these and my normal running shoes. After several months of use, they still look and feel great. The cushioning depletion is on par with what I'd expect given the mileage, and there was zero break-in period. One minor issue: around 30 miles in, the right toe box developed a crease that folds inward and presses down on one of my toes. It hasn't gotten worse, but it's just there. I have no idea why it's only the right shoe and not the left. That's the only discomfort I've experienced. I'm an average runner, getting out two to three times a week for two to five miles at a time. I normally wear Hokas, and the Glycerins matched or exceeded them in cushioning and support. It'll be interesting to see how they hold up long term, but so far I'd say these are a really good option.

These are the best running shoes I've ever tried, and it's not even close. I have wide feet and super high arches, which means most running shoes just don't fit me, but the Glycerin GTS 23 nailed both. The toe box is appropriately sized instead of being narrow like other brands, and the arch support is noticeably high, which is awesome for my feet. There was zero break-in period. I put them on and they were comfortable right away. The cushioning feels bouncy and supportive, and my feet never hurt after runs. With other brands I've had to size up, but these fit perfectly true to size. I've been wearing this pair for at least six months now, running about six miles a week, and I haven't had any durability concerns. They've really stood up over time. The colors are cute and they're just a really well-made shoe. The only thing I'd say is if you have a really narrow foot, make sure you try them on first since they do run wide. Other than that, there's really not much to know. They're just great.
