Really comfortable, stylish shorts that I reach for as soon as they're out of the laundry. I've been wearing them for several months now, at least once a week, mostly for day-to-day casual wear. The fabric is very light and airy and doesn't feel heavy or hold on to sweat. They're easy to move around in and run pretty true to size, though they are on the shorter side. My one real complaint is that the waistband rolls over, so I'm frequently fixing it. It happens mostly when sitting, but if you're leaning over a lot it's likely to do that as well. The side slit is also really high. That's not necessarily a complaint of mine, and it's certainly suitable for running and active wear, but I could see where some people may not like how high it is for daily wear. Overall, I really like these shorts.

These are great running shorts that have held up perfectly over six months of regular use. I run three to seven miles, four days a week, and they've performed well in hot, humid weather in both the Florida Keys and Pennsylvania. They dry super quick, the waistband is comfortable, and I've had zero chafing issues, even on my longest seven-mile runs. The pockets are a real standout. I can actually run with my cell phone right in the front pocket without needing a flip belt or waistband holder, which I've never been able to do with my other running shorts. These are the least stretchy running shorts I own, which hasn't been an issue at all while running but does mean they're not my go-to for lifting weights or yoga. I've essentially only worn them for runs and walking the dog because they're just not as comfortable for other activities. Compared to other shorts I own, they're right in the mix for a dedicated running short, and I don't have any complaints there. I went with my typical size and it fits true to size. I have long legs and the length was completely fine, not too short. Durability has been excellent. I just throw them in with my regular laundry, wash and dryer, nothing special, and they look as good as new.
Comfortable material, but the fit was a little awkward for me. Even though I ordered my usual size, they ran a bit big and the length hit at an awkward place on my thigh, about an inch or two longer than I'd prefer. The shorts are very comfortable, so if you don't mind a longer cut, the material is great.
These are a great pair of running shorts. They're comfortable, breathable, and true to what you want in a dedicated running short. The flyaway side seams and mesh detailing keep things cool and prevent chafing, which makes them perfect for hot-weather runs. The waistband is wide and flexible with a really nice drawstring, and I like the Brooks logo detailing on the side. The inseam is about 2.5 inches, so the flyaway cut does show more leg than I'm normally used to during workouts. But they do have a built-in brief. They also don't have a pocket, so if carrying small items is important to you as a runner, keep that in mind. Overall, this is a very comfortable and a solid pair of running shorts, especially for outdoor runs on hotter days.
Comfortable shorts with a great fit and lightweight fabric, but they are a bit see-through because of how light the material is. They also run on the shorter side, so if you prefer more length, you might want to look at a different option. I use them for indoor workouts at home since they're too sheer and short for me to wear out.
