These shorts stay put the entire run, no riding up, no bunching, no shifting. That alone sets them apart from other shorts I've worn that constantly move around. The waistband holds in place and the fit is very comfortable throughout. The pockets are great. They're deep enough to fit my phone or carry fuel on longer runs. The fabric is super soft, lightweight, and breathable, which makes them comfortable in warm weather and on longer efforts. They've held up well across different weather conditions, hot and cold, and they wash really well without losing their shape. They seem very durable. I typically run 15 to 20 miles a week at a moderate pace, and when I'm training for longer distances my long runs are anywhere from 8 to 10 miles. These have been reliable through all of it.

Easily one of my favorite pairs of running shorts. The fit, support, and quality are just as good as any high-end biker shorts or running shorts I've ever worn. I got my usual size and they fit perfectly, very true to size. Zero chafing, bunching, or discomfort throughout my entire run. The fabric is really breathable, and the pockets are great. I use them every single time for my AirPods and sometimes my phone, and I've never had an issue. They're also a really awesome, beautiful color, which is always appreciated. I've washed them several times already and they've held up great. No loose threads, no tearing, no quality issues at all. I wash them frequently just so I can wear these specific shorts more often for my runs. My typical distance is about 3 miles in about 40 minutes, and they perform really well the entire time. Just make sure you measure yourself and get the right size. That's the most important thing with any kind of sports or running gear. I found these to be very true to size, so as long as you do that, you shouldn't have any issues. Definitely love these shorts.
These shorts are comfortable with a perfect length, but the light blue color shows through a little bit, which means I won't wear them out in public. Indoors on my treadmill or bike they're fine, but outdoors I'd need a darker option. Black would be ideal, and a forest green or dark navy would also be more flattering. It's not super noticeable unless you're wearing dark stuff underneath, which I think many of us do. Brooks should really look into offering more color options for these.
The light blue color is completely transparent, which is a dealbreaker. I put a piece of printed paper inside them and could read it with no stretch whatsoever. The fabric is just too see-through. Because of this, I only use them as undershorts or at my home gym when nobody else is around. It would be embarrassing to leave the house in these. Which is a shame, because otherwise these shorts are great. The fit is true to size, the length and design are nice, and the fabric feels comfortable with plenty of stretch. The fabric would just need to be opaque. Order your usual size.
These are my go-to workout shorts because they actually stay put on my thighs during runs and weightlifting. They have a rubber-like material on the lower hem that keeps them from riding up, and I've never noticed that feature on any other shorts I've bought before. Zero chafing issues and the fit is secure without being too tight. The durability is impressive. I've washed them many times and they still look very new. Sizing is true to size, so no need to go up or down. I love that they have pockets for my phone, but I wouldn't actually run with my phone in the thigh pocket since it feels a bit heavy and thick bouncing around. I just hold my phone instead. That's a minor thing though. I wear biker shorts to work out two to three times a week, and these are the pair I keep reaching for.
