My husband has been training for a marathon in the Brooks Cascadia Shorts and they've been fantastic. Zero chafing issues across runs ranging from 10 to 20 miles, and the storage options are a standout feature. There are two regular pockets plus gel pockets along the inside of the waistband where he can tuck gels right in, and a zipper pocket on the back underneath the waistband where he kept his keys. He used them for both short speed workouts and long runs throughout his training block. They come lined, which is awesome, and they run a little on the shorter side, which is the style right now for running shorts. They fit him true to size. These shorts have held up incredibly well in the wash. We air dry them and they still don't look used at all. There were no issues with moisture retention from sweating either. We would definitely buy them again.

These have become my go-to running shorts for my 5 to 10 mile runs, morning or evening. They're so lightweight that I don't get hot, I don't have any chafing, the waistband feels comfy, and they've washed amazingly well over the six months I've had them. The pocket is small, so I don't keep my phone in it, but it's perfect for a house key, and I could fit some cash or a credit card in there if I needed to. It's just nice to have something for peace of mind. Buy your regular size. That's what worked best for me, no need to size up or down. I'll definitely be buying more and encouraging my runner friends to get some too.

Highly recommend these shorts. They're true to size, very comfortable, and so light and airy they almost feel like they're not there. I typically run shorter distances, under 10 miles, and I've had zero issues with riding up or chafing, even in hot weather. The pockets are functional enough to hold my ID and phone just fine. I've had them for about six to eight months now and there's no unusual wear and tear. Just a solid, reliable pair of running shorts.

These are excellent running shorts with a great fit, no chafing, and impressive durability over time. They stay dry and don't bunch up even when I'm sweating, which is a big deal. The fit and comfort are top-notch, and they compare very favorably to other running shorts I've owned. My one real complaint is the pocket size only being large enough to fit a drivers license and credit card. They also run a little large, so keep that in mind when ordering. I run a few times a week on both paved roads and hiking trails, and these shorts have held up great through consistent use. The durability is extremely good. Overall, I'd rate them very highly.

Comfortable, stylish, and functional for training and racing. I loved the bright blue color for running visibility, especially on long runs in the city. The small pockets along the waistband have room for chews, gummies, or protein bars. The shorts are lined, comfortable, and easy to wash. They run slightly big, so go with your normal size and certainly don't size up. I wear them regularly in my training and would recommend them to others.

Cute shorts with a great color and soft, flowy material that feels really nice, but unfortunately they bunch up badly during movement. When I walk or run, the fabric gathers between my legs and right above the waist, which makes them unwearable for exercise. They seem very well made, so it's a shame the fit doesn't hold up in action.

These are absolutely my favorite running shorts. The waistband is the standout feature: it's almost a double waistband that stays put without any tying or adjusting, so there's zero slipping while I run. There are no seams to worry about, which means no rubbing or chafing at all. The fabric is lightweight, and the built-in underwear is a fantastic option for runners. I run about a 5K every day, sometimes longer, across all kinds of terrain: trails, sidewalks, gravel, and sometimes indoors. These shorts handle all of it. The lightweight style makes them fantastic for summer, though obviously they wouldn't be great in the winter. Pocket space is minimal, but for running shorts I'll take that tradeoff for better function. There is a small pocket that works fine for a car key or something similar. I also love the blue color. Overall, these are the best running shorts I've owned.

These Brooks Cascadia Shorts are honestly perfect for any type of workout or hike. They're super lightweight, breathable, and the comfort level is unbelievable. I wear them for treadmill workouts, light trail hikes, and runs ranging from two to five miles, and they've held up great through all of it. I've even worn them on longer, more technical trails and they performed just as well. The quick-drying material makes them ideal for hot summer days. I used to get chafing between my thighs after long, hard workouts with other brands, where the material would rub in all the wrong places. With these, I haven't really noticed any chafing, even on longer exercises. The material and quality feel a lot more outstanding compared to other brands I've used in the past. They're loose enough to give you full mobility while climbing or stepping over stuff on hikes, but still super flattering. I love the color. I get tons of compliments on the blue. They've become my go-to shorts for walks and runs weekly, and honestly for everyday casual wear too. I've washed them numerous times and they're still holding up well.

These shorts are best suited for summer running. I typically run a couple days a week, four to seven miles at a time, through parks and neighborhoods in the Upper Midwest where we get all sorts of weather.
