These Brooks are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, and after about 300 miles they still feel exactly as supportive and cushy as day one. I wear them at least three times a week to the gym and sometimes for running, and they're my go-to's for anything exercise related. Usually by now I'd be looking for a new pair, but these show no signs of wear in performance. The soles are thicker than most of my other shoes, which I think is why they feel so cushy. They're also very, very supportive for my high arches, and they fit comfortably snug on my heels. No discomfort at all, especially impressive for these big ole wide feet that can be challenging to find shoes for.

These are my favorite pair of Brooks, and I've tried other styles. They have the perfect balance of cushion and bounce without being overly cushioned, so my ankles stay stable and I don't get any knee pain. I've actually been looking at getting a second pair because I wear them so much. I run twice a week and use them for workouts like weights mixed with cardio. They're easy to put on and great for light workouts or running. My feet don't hurt when I wear them, and they fit my foot well. I even recently took them on a trip where we were doing a lot of walking, and I chose these because they leave my feet feeling happy. I've been wearing them for several months now, and they're my go-to shoes. I notice a little wear on the bottom, but it's definitely from use and not a product flaw. Nothing about the performance has changed over time. I am really impressed.

These are a really great everyday sneaker. They're lightweight, comfortable, and give me great energy during my runs. They're responsive and feel like a definite step up from other shoes I've compared them to in terms of comfort, energy return, and styling. I've been wearing them every day since I got them, whether I'm running around my neighborhood, training, or just going about my day. The lightweight feel is especially important for runs and training sessions. Overall, I'd highly recommend them.

The Brooks Revel Max has been great, and they're my go-to shoes for pretty much everything. I've put a couple hundred miles on them and they still feel awesome. They're super cushy, they fit really well, and my legs feel good while I wear them. I actually like these better than some other max cushion shoes I've had, though those were more strictly hardcore running shoes. I wear these to work, around the house, walking my three big dogs, to the gym, and for light running. I'm more of a recreational runner these days, so it's mostly road running and light trail work, and these perform wonderfully for that. I also visited a major theme park several times since I've had them, logging 30,000 steps or more a day, which is roughly 12 or more miles. They held up beautifully through all of that. One concern I had was whether they'd provide enough traction since the sole is a little on the smooth side. I walk my dogs a couple times a day down a dirt and gravel alley, and with three big dogs pulling on me, I thought that might be an issue. They performed great though. The longest run I've logged in them is about five miles, so I can't speak to serious long-distance performance. For a hardcore long-distance run, those other max cushion shoes I used to own might have been better. I also wouldn't reach for these in really wet conditions or on a rigorous climbing hike where you need serious traction. I'm actually wearing these out, so I'll be purchasing another pair in the foreseeable future. My plan is to transition the current pair into dedicated exercise shoes once the new ones arrive, since I like to keep a pair reserved strictly for working out and a separate pair for everyday use. They look good enough to wear to work and they're comfortable enough for all-day wear. I love them.

Comfortable, true to size, and durable with cushioning that hits the sweet spot: soft enough to feel like you're on a cloud but firm enough to still provide real support. I've been wearing these for about six months as both running shoes and everyday walkers, and they've held up really well. The shoes lean slightly forward, which gives you the sensation of being pushed into your stride. That forward lean doesn't affect comfort on longer runs, but I do feel like it slightly helps with stride length, making it easier to maintain consistency even when I'm getting tired. There was zero break-in period. Compared to my other shoes, the cushioning is a bit more plush, but it never crosses into overly squishy territory. After six months of solid use, I think it's finally time to get a new pair, but the durability has been impressive overall. They're true to size, supportive, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable shoe for both running and daily wear.

Extremely comfortable, lightweight, and shock-absorbing. The thick foam soles do their job well, and the knit upper is breathable and airy. The rocking motion took a few minutes to get used to, but once I adjusted, it made walking and running feel natural and smooth. They're also very durable and great quality overall. My main issue is the look. The sole is very thick and rounded, so they have more of a rocker shoe aesthetic than a regular running shoe. I don't love how they look on me, and I personally prefer a slimmer, slicker shoe over a thicker rocking style. I use them mostly on the treadmill and do run outdoors as well. I can't really say how they stack up against other max cushion shoes because I don't typically wear them. All in all, it's a great shoe if you don't mind the bulkier profile.

The Brooks Revel Max has become my default shoe for everything, and I honestly didn't expect that. The cushioning feels softer than what I normally wear, but not in an unstable way. On the treadmill it feels really great, and the more I wore them, the more I liked them. They're lighter than I expected given how much cushion they have, and I had zero hot spots or break-in period. The width is pretty normal, not overly narrow or wide. I've put about 40 running miles on them over a little more than a month, plus quite a bit of walking and workout use. Durability looks solid so far with no major wear issues like holes or anything. The one thing I noticed is that the cushioning can feel a little too squishy during lifting, especially planted movements like deadlifts where you want to feel connected to the ground. It's definitely not a dealbreaker, and the shoe still felt more stable overall than some other shoes I've tried. If you lace them up really tight, the tongue area can feel kind of thick, but I stopped noticing that after wearing them for a while. I'm not a super high mileage runner, but I lift three to four days a week and I'm very active overall. I work from home, so I wanted something comfortable for running on the treadmill and everyday wear around the house. These check both boxes and then some.

Really great shoes, especially for walking, where they're incredible. I've been wearing them for seven months and they're still so comfortable. This is my first Max Cushion running shoe, and I was surprised by how much I've enjoyed them. I run 15 to 20 miles a week and walk about 5 miles a week, and I always feel like I have a pep in my step especially when walking. That said, there are two things to be aware of. First, I've had more. lose calls with ankle stability than I've ever experienced in other running shoes. Sometimes I sense that my ankles aren't fully supported, and sometimes my ankles has hurt. I think there's something about my gait and these particular shoes, because I haven't noticed this in any other brand. If you're a runner, just pay attention to your heel-to-toe landing. It might just be that the springy, energetic feel keeps you pushing further than you're prepared for. Second, do not buy the creamy white color. I did, and they got dirty instantly. They are no longer white. They are now brown. Still love them but they aren't pretty anymore. Overall, I would recommend them. Seven months in and I still love them, and I'm going to keep wearing them.

These are a perfect balance of cushion, comfort, and sleek design. They're super lightweight with plenty of space in the toe box, but they don't look bulky or ridiculous like some spacious running shoes do. Other running shoes tend to be narrow in the toe box, or if they have a roomy one, it looks oversized. This shoe balances both really well. So far they've held up to a lot of miles and I have no concerns with durability or performance. I literally love to put them on. They're great for running, but because of their sleek design and lack of bulk, they also make a great everyday wear. I'm a casual runner, and this pair checks every box for me.

The cushioning on the Brooks Revel Max is great for running and even better for walking. I definitely feel the bouncy feedback when I run, and it helps me push and keep my pace up. Compared to other full-cushion shoes I've owned, they don’t feel quite as springy but they are still very plush. I've put about 50 to 60 miles on them over a few months, mostly on pavement and road-running trails. I'm a casual runner, usually doing about 1 -3 miles at a time, plus a lot of walking. They're holding up great with no durability issues at all. One thing to be aware of is the fit around the top of the foot. Because there's so much cushioning, it seems to push the foot up a bit, so I need to leave the laces slightly looser than I do on my other running shoes. If I tie them at my usual tightness, the top of my foot feels constrained. They're still very comfortable once I adjust for that. I'd recommend evaluating the width and how they feel across the top of your foot before committing.

The Brooks Revel Max is a seriously comfortable everyday sneaker with a smooth ride and great energy return. The cushioning is excellent, and the way the shoe is designed, transitions feel really smooth whether you're running or just walking. It's not the lightest shoe on the market, but you can tell the cushioning isn't meant to prioritize being super lightweight. That tradeoff is well worth it for the comfort you get. I've been wearing these for about six months as my everyday shoe, and they've held up well. I use them for ball hockey, other sports, and regular casual walks. The style also stands out compared to other running shoes. I have the gray model and it works great as an everyday wear. The upper material is nice and the shoe is super durable overall. My one gripe is that the upper scuffs pretty easily. I've picked up a couple of black marks just from brushing up against things in daily use. Nothing a little cleaning can't fix, but I do wish the material was a bit more resistant to that. The style of the upper won't be for everyone, but if you're looking for a comfortable, smooth-riding sneaker that works for both running and daily wear, these deliver.
