Every student in my kindergarten class was able to use these scissors with ease, including children with IEPs for gross motor delays. Both my left-handed and right-handed students cut immediately without any issues. The scissors opened and closed without straining, and the kids completed activities from beginning to end independently. They cut cleanly through cardstock, construction paper, and computer paper with no jagged edges, yet no one got cut accidentally touching the blades. The students used them multiple times throughout the day for a variety of activities: cutting straight lines, cutting shapes, and cutting different materials. They loved the bright colors too. If I could improve anything, I'd add a few more color options or offer multiple sizes so a teacher could get a matching set across the classroom.

These scissors cut so much better than any others we've had. The cut is smoother, not jagged, and my kids can easily cut a straight line through paper. They're also softer and more comfortable on little hands. What I really love is that they work for both right and left handed use. My 5-year-old is pretty much ambidextrous, so when he's struggling to cut with one hand, I tell him to switch, and he can keep going without missing a beat. I don't have to carry separate right-handed and left-handed scissors or try to keep track of which is which. The kids just pick the color they like. My girl loves the pink, my boy loves the green, and I get to use the other two. They're also very comfortable for me as an adult. If I'm doing schoolwork or activities with the kids, I don't have to go find my adult scissors and then worry about leaving them out. The four-pack comes in great colors, they're strong and durable, and the soft rubber grip is light enough that you could write a kid's name on it with a Sharpie. That makes them perfect for a school group or church group where you want to assign each child their own pair. These are out and used multiple times a week in my house. Amazing scissors.

These scissors are a win for both left- and right-handed kids. I'm a first grade teacher, and I had more left-handed students this year than ever before. These worked perfectly for all of them since most school supply kits don't include left-handed options. The pointed tips also allowed my students and my son to cut with noticeably more precision than blunt-tip scissors, which made a real difference during arts and crafts projects where they needed to cut out specific shapes for math. I've been using these for a few months now, with students reaching for them several times a week. The grip is comfortable and easy for little hands to hold properly. My only wish is that they came with some kind of blade cover or locking mechanism. Students and my son tend to walk around without holding the scissors properly, and something to keep the blades shut would add peace of mind.

Both my seven-year-old and three-year-old loved these scissors. My older son was amazed by them, found them comfortable, and had no trouble cutting at all. My three-year-old was excited just to try them out, and I had zero safety concerns watching him use them. Awesome product.

These are among the best kids' scissors we've used. They cut paper very easily and cleanly, leaving a nice smooth finish rather than the jagged, raggedy edges you get with some children's scissors. None of the children complained about the scissors hurting their hands at all. I used these with both my kids (ages 7 and 10) and my Sunday school class of second graders, including both right-handed and left-handed children. Everyone found them very easy to use. We've used them multiple times over most of the school year in Sunday school and for many months at home. With these age groups, I have no concerns about safety or durability. They seem very age-appropriate, and the children genuinely enjoy using them. I'd say the cutting quality is as good as or better than any other kid scissors we've tried.
